Miss Jingles Needs Surgery
9 week old Miss Jingles had her first visit with our wonderful vet. She passed her testing with flying colors (negative for both FIV and FeLV) and quickly became a staff favorite with her spunk and can-do attitude. She loves to explore and is absolutely fearless!
Now, about her eyes: She has a condition known as Microphthalmia (small eyes) that was exacerbated by minor eye infections. In short, she is blind and her eyes will not recover. Although she is not in any pain her eyes will always collect "gunk" making her uncomfortable and prone to infection. The decision was made to remove both eyes. This will be done on January 9, 2025, along with her spay, and cost roughly $1000.

We survive thanks to generous donations that help cover everything from veterinary emergencies and care, medicines, food, litter, toys, towels, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, treats, blankets, heating pads, office supplies, and sponsorships of spay/neuter/adoption fees. Any size donation is welcome. Pennies add up to dollars.
We also accept donations of canned food (Friskies Pate), dry food (Purina Cat Chow Naturals - Original flavor), and gently used towels.
